述曰：文有三：初總舉；次別顯；後結之。此即初也。若成四智，能入唯識現在十地，隨悟入者，即是地前，或隨經義而入十地。說四智處名《四智經》，然是《阿毘達磨經》。《攝論》但言如世尊言，不出經處。

The Commentary states: The text has three parts: first, a general introduction; second, specific elucidation; third, the conclusion. This is the first part. If one accomplishes the four wisdoms, one can enter vijñapti-mātra and abide in the ten stages. Those who enter in accordance with awakening are those before the stages, or they enter the ten stages in accordance with the meaning of the sūtra. The text where the four wisdoms are taught is called the *Caturjñāna-sūtra, but it is actually the Abhidharma-sūtra. The Mahāyānasaṃgraha merely says 'as the World-Honoured One said,' without naming the sūtra's provenance.
