述曰：謂心外所計實我、法非有，真如理空及能緣真識非無，或空即其理，識即俗事。初離有，後離無，故契中道。結前所言契會中道也，以理證上所明法已。

The Commentary states: That is to say, the real self and dharmas imagined outside the mind do not exist, whereas the emptiness of the principle of tathatā and the real consciousness that cognizes them are not non-existent; or emptiness is the principle, and consciousness is the conventional phenomenon. First departing from existence, and next departing from non-existence, they therefore accord with the Middle Way. This concludes what was previously stated regarding accord with the Middle Way; this completes proving the doctrine explained above by means of reasoning.
