述曰：釋前二頌，不遮淨分，故是有也。今此，依三界虛妄生死可斷位證涅槃，故不說清淨。上來已引教、理成訖，自下第二世事乖宗難，即唯識二十外引為難。

The Commentary states: Explaining the previous two verses, it does not exclude the pure part, and therefore it is existent. Here, it is based on the stage where the unreal saṃsāra of the three realms can be severed to realize nirvāṇa, and therefore does not speak of the pure. Above, the establishment by scripture and reasoning has ended; next below is the second part: the objection that worldly affairs contradict the tenet—that is, the external objections adduced in the Viṃśikā-vijñaptimātratāsiddhi.
