述曰：此釋外疑。《二十唯識》復說頌言：「所執法無我，復依餘教入」，彼長行云：「復依此餘說唯識教受化者，能入所執法無我。謂若了知唯識現似色等法起，此中都無色等相法，應受諸法無我教者，便能悟入諸法無我」，以說唯識除其法見，令知外法亦非有故。

The Commentary states: This resolves the external doubt. The Viṃśikā-vijñaptimātratā further states in verse: "The selflessness of grasped phenomena / is entered based on further teaching." Its prose commentary says: "Furthermore, relying on this other teaching of consciousness-only, those to be converted can enter the selflessness of grasped phenomena. That is to say, if they understand that consciousness-only arises appearing like phenomena such as form, wherein there are no phenomena of the marks of form and so on at all, those who should receive the teaching of the selflessness of all phenomena will then be able to awaken and enter into the selflessness of all phenomena." By teaching consciousness-only, he removes their view of phenomena, causing them to know that external phenomena are also nonexistent.
