述曰：尋、伺離思及惠二種，若體、若用類別無故。即如《大論》第五、五十五、五十八，《顯揚》、《對法》、《五蘊》皆同。

The Commentary states: If investigation and evaluation were separate from the two factors of volition and wisdom, there would be no categorical distinction in either their reality or their function. This is identical to fascicles 5, 55, and 58 of the Great Treatise, the Prakaraṇāryavācā, the Abhidharma-samuccaya, and the Pañcaskandhaka.
