述曰：此論主答。妄習色相一類等故有此相現，非真實有，無性、天親皆無此解，謂由無始名言熏習住在身中，由彼勢力，此色等起相續而轉。

The Commentary states: This is the author of the treatise answering. Because of the false perfuming of the marks of form as uniform and the like, this mark appears, yet it is not genuinely real. Neither Asvabhāva nor Vasubandhu provides this explanation. It means that, owing to the perfuming of conventional designations from beginningless time abiding within the body, this form and so forth arise and continue to occur in an uninterrupted series through that power.
