述曰：此顯但遮，一切愚夫通二乘等，執定離諸識實有色等，為不實故，妄顛倒故，此且舉色，等取一切，其實亦遮如上所說離識五法皆是有也。即答理難訖。

The Commentary states: This shows that it merely excludes [certain notions]: all foolish persons, along with those of the Two Vehicles and others, grasp at truly existent form and so forth apart from the consciousnesses; because these are unreal and false inversions, here form is mentioned to exemplify all of them; in fact, it also excludes asserting that the five dharmas described above exist apart from consciousness. This concludes the reply to the objection concerning principle.
