述曰：上二句明種為因生分別，此句明現行為緣生分別，通三緣，第三句中，且置「以」、「故」二字。釋「展轉力」者，謂八現行識，及八識相應心所，此即識等自證分，及此所變相、見二分，并不相應及無為法，故復言「等」。以彼識等皆互有相助力故，謂由真如等故，或生邪見等分別，或生隨順言論分別等也。

The Commentary states: The preceding two lines explained seeds as causes generating discriminative thought; this line explains active manifestations as conditions generating discriminative thought, which applies across three [kinds of] conditions. In the third line, for the time being set aside the two characters 'because' (以) and 'of' (故). In explaining 'the power of mutual interaction' (展轉力), it refers to the eight active consciousnesses and the mental factors associated with the eight consciousnesses—this being the self-corroborating division of the consciousnesses, etc., as well as the objective and perceptive divisions manifested by them, and also non-associated and unconditioned dharmas; therefore, it further says 'etc.' Because those consciousnesses and other dharmas mutually assist each other—meaning, due to tathatā and the like, either discriminative thoughts such as wrong views arise, or discriminative thoughts according with conventional discourse arise, and so forth.
