述曰：顯所生果。第四句且除「生」字解餘四字，即現行識相、見分，相應、不相應，皆名分別，以妄分別為自性故，皆不離識，故識為性。以自體、相、見等類眾多，故言「彼彼」。「彼彼」者，眾多義故。

The Commentary states: This reveals the results that are produced. In the fourth line, setting aside the character 'arise' (生) for now, the remaining four characters are explained: namely, the objective and perceptive divisions of active consciousnesses, associated [mental factors], and non-associated [formations] are all called discriminative thoughts, because their self-nature is false discrimination; none of them are separate from consciousness, and thus consciousness is their nature. Because their self-substances, objective divisions, perceptive divisions, and other categories are manifold, it says 'various' (彼彼). 'Various' has the meaning of manifold.
