7.624

述曰：辨前緣法，廣上三句中，文中有二：初正解四緣；後傍乘義明十五依處等。緣中有總、別，此即總也，以答不盡故有且言。

The Commentary states: In distinguishing the former conditioning dharmas and elaborating the first three lines above, the text has two parts: first, directly explaining the four conditions; second, taking up an incidental topic to clarify the fifteen bases, and so forth. Among the conditions there are general and specific aspects; this is the general aspect. Because the answer is not exhaustive, the word 'provisionally' (且) is used.
