7.731

述曰：此緣最廣，前三亦是。然今此緣，除彼前三，取三外之餘法為此緣體。雖無一法非所緣緣，所緣緣外更無增上。然彼正緣時是所緣緣，餘不緣者是此緣故，以此別體明四緣故。

The Commentary states: This condition is the broadest, and the preceding three are also it. However, in this context, excluding those preceding three, other dharmas outside the three are taken as the essential nature of this condition. Although not a single dharma fails to be an object-condition, outside of the object-condition there is no sovereign [condition]. Nevertheless, when it is being directly cognised as an object, it is an object-condition; what is not cognised is this condition. Therefore, based on these distinct entities, the four conditions are clarified.
