述曰：此義亦辨決擇分善，近能引發根本位故，此中加行、資糧之言，不唯取彼，亦攝根本。今顯兼取加行等故，但舉加行等也。如五十七云：「一色界繫及不繫，一切繫、不繫為義」，「義」者，境也，此根唯取決擇分已來，決擇分善唯色界繫故，《對法》第十亦爾。

The Commentary states: This explanation also clarifies the wholesome roots of the aids to penetration, because they can immediately induce the fundamental stage. The words 'expedients' and 'provisions' here do not solely take those, but also subsume the fundamental. Now, to show that they additionally take expedients and so forth, it merely mentions expedients and so forth. As Fascicle 57 states: 'One belongs to the form realm and is unattached, taking all that is attached and unattached as its object.' 'Object' means the cognitive sphere. This faculty is taken only from the aids to penetration onwards, because the wholesome roots of the aids to penetration belong solely to the form realm; Fascicle 10 of the Abhidharmasamuccaya is also like this.
