8.111

述曰：上解因緣；下解中二。此即是前第一師義，彼二處言，意顯，但是此二緣者，非唯第五無間滅處、第六境界依處所攝，其餘領受及下和合、不障礙處三依處中，亦皆有此二緣義故，觀待待境，心等得生，餘二合前以為體故，即以此文而為盡理。

The Commentary states: The above explained cause-condition; the following explains the middle two conditions. This is just the position of the first master above. The words 'those two bases' are intended to reveal that whatever constitutes these two conditions is not solely subsumed under the fifth basis of immediately preceding cessation and the sixth basis of cognitive objects; for among the remaining three bases—experiencing, and the subsequent concordance and non-obstruction—there is also the meaning of these two conditions. In dependency, by waiting upon cognitive objects, mind and the like are able to arise, while the other two combine with the preceding to form their substance; thus this text is regarded as fully expressing the underlying principle.
