述曰：准上可解。以士用果望於處者，即士用處名顯，及體相亦顯，故偏說之，非餘四或十依處無也。但是士用依處必得士用果，不可同前言此處亦能得非士用果。但有總言亦能招增上等。此士用依所得士用，亦得名增上等故，亦不盡理。

The Commentary states: This can be understood by analogy with the above. Because when looking at the fruit of purposive effort (puruṣakāra-phala) in relation to the basis, the name 'basis of purposive effort' is obvious and its essential characteristic is also obvious, it is spoken of specifically; it does not mean it is absent in the other four or ten bases. However, whatever is a basis of purposive effort necessarily obtains the fruit of purposive effort; one cannot say, as before, that this basis can also obtain non-purposive-effort fruits. It is only stated generally that it can also attract sovereign [fruits] and so on. The purposive effort obtained by this basis of purposive effort can also be termed sovereign and so forth, so this also does not exhaust the principle.
