述曰：此第二釋。亦許相緣或依見分同聚心、心所說不相緣，無緣俱時他見分故，此依因位，佛則不然。若依相分有相緣義，謂諸相分互為本質方得起故，如本識中諸法種子，為同時五所觸等相分本質，此顯其事。

The Commentary states: This is the second explanation. It also accepts mutual cognition, or it is stated on the basis of the darśanabhāga that citta and caitasikas of the same cluster do not cognize each other, because none cognizes the simultaneously arising darśanabhāga of another; this is based on the causal stage, whereas for a Buddha it is not so. If based on the nimittabhāga, there is the sense of mutual cognition, meaning that the various nimittabhāgas must mutually serve as archetypes in order to arise; just as the seeds of all dharmas within the root consciousness serve as the archetypes for the nimittabhāgas of the simultaneous five caitasikas such as contact (sparśa). This clarifies the matter.
