述曰：謂見與自證，如相與見，能為二緣，自證與見但為一緣，如前說故。見與第四亦但一緣，此據親義，若疎所緣亦得有之。今約親說不相違也。

The Commentary states: This means that the darśana and the svasaṃvittibhāga, like the nimitta and the darśana, can serve as two conditions; the svasaṃvittibhāga serves only as one condition for the darśana, as explained above. The darśana also serves as only one condition for the fourth division. This is based on the immediate sense; if viewed as a mediate objective condition, it could also be present. Stating it now in terms of the immediate does not conflict.
