述曰：謂依內識若種、若現互為緣起，一切分別若因、若果，能生、所生皆悉成立，汝等小乘所執心外之緣，設有無用，況違理、教，而固執何為？

The Commentary states: This means that based on internal consciousness, whether seeds or manifest activity, mutually being conditioned arisings, all discriminations, whether causes or fruits, whether producing or produced, are all established. The conditions outside the mind clung to by you of the Hīnayāna: even if they existed, they would be useless; how much more so when they contradict reason and teaching—why cling to them so obstinately?
