六、觸支者，除第七識取餘第八相應觸全，六識之中若異熟觸一切皆是，此約五種同時為論。若分位為言，六處位後所有觸數方是此體。《大論》第九說：六觸身名為觸故。

6. The member of contact: excluding the seventh consciousness, it takes all remaining contact associated with the eighth consciousness; among the six consciousnesses, any matured contact is entirely included; this is discussed in terms of the five seeds being simultaneous. If speaking in terms of stages, only the caitasikas of contact existing subsequent to the stage of the six sense-bases constitute this essence, because fascicle 9 of the Great Treatise states that the six bodies of contact are called contact.
