8.388

述曰：是牒前也，此義意言，如次前引，受有二種，謂內異熟受、外境界受。受內異熟時，由迷內異熟果無明，不知二苦，故隨所應造三種行，為增上緣，引起當來生、老死位，識等五果因緣種已。

The Commentary states: This takes up the preceding. The meaning of this is: as cited just before, feeling is of two kinds: internal ripening-feeling and external objective-field feeling. When feeling internal ripening, due to the ignorance that is deluded about internal ripening fruits and does not know the two kinds of suffering, one accordingly performs the three kinds of volition as predominating conditions, and has already projected the seeds that are the direct causes of the five fruits, consciousness and the rest, at the future stage of birth and old age and death.
