述曰：會經違也。《緣起》上卷，依無希求當惡趣身之愛，說生惡趣無有愛起，非生彼趣諸愛全無，有現愛故。

The Commentary states: This harmonizes the contradiction with the sūtra. The upper fascicle of the Pratītyasamutpāda[-sūtra-vyākhyā], in reliance on the absence of craving that desires the future miserable body, states that those born into miserable destinies have no arising of craving; it is not that those born into that destiny completely lack any craving, because present craving exists.
