The Commentary states: Among the six causes, there are all [types of] direct causes subsumed under the productive cause. Since these two kinds of seeds are direct causes, those among the six causes that are direct causes are all subsumed under this. If not, the subsumption of direct causes would not be exhaustive. Question: If so, actual activity perfuming to form seeds is also included in direct causes; why is it not subsumed here? Is this also not fully logical?
