8.598

述曰：下釋第二名及顯得名，又此生死果或名意成身，隨大悲願意之所成故。《勝鬘經》云：生者，諸受、根起；死者，諸受、根滅，乃至云云，如別章解。釋此一名恐義無由，下引經證。

The Commentary states: The following explains the second name and clarifies the reason for receiving this name. Moreover, this fruit of saṃsāra is also called the mind-made body, because it is accomplished in accordance with the intention of great compassionate vows. The Śrīmālā-sūtra states: 'Birth is the arising of feelings and sense faculties; death is the cessation of feelings and sense faculties,' and so forth, as explained in a separate chapter. Fearing that explaining this single name might seem groundless, it next cites a sūtra as proof.
