8.84

述曰：第二師中，釋二文為二解。一一中又二：初正解；後釋難。此初也。〈菩薩地〉所說二種種子，即十因中彼牽引、生起二因，如名所攝，所餘諸因，即十因中餘八所攝。下自釋難。

The Commentary states: Under the second master, the two texts are explained in two interpretations. In each of these two, there are again two parts: first, the correct explanation; second, the resolution of objections. This is the first. The two kinds of seeds spoken of in the *Bodhisattvabhūmi* are just the projecting and generating causes among the ten causes, subsumed according to their names; the remaining causes are just subsumed by the other eight among the ten causes. Below, he resolves the objection himself.
