述曰：十卷《楞伽》第七，五法品說，今勘梵本正與此同。然四卷《楞伽》文勝，十卷者亂。如文易解，無勞重釋。

The Commentary states: It is taught in the ten-fascicle Laṅkāvatāra-sūtra, fascicle seven, the Chapter on the Five Dharmas; now checking the Sanskrit text, it is exactly the same as this. However, the text of the four-fascicle Laṅkāvatāra is superior, while the ten-fascicle one is disorderly. As the text is easy to understand, there is no need to explain it again.
