述曰：頌二取言：顯二取取，非即二取名二取也，但只二取名二取者。有非執二取種，豈亦伏耶？又相分等非必可伏，故執二取為實有等之取方名二取。

The Commentary states: The verse's words 'two graspings' show the grasping of the two graspings; it is not that the two graspings themselves are simply named the two graspings. If only the two graspings were named the two graspings, since there are seeds of the two graspings that are not grasping, could they also be subjugated? Moreover, the nimittabhāga and so on are not necessarily to be subjugated; therefore, only the grasping that grasps the two graspings as real existents and so forth is named the two graspings.
