述曰：諸論但說此第八識唯五數俱，法執必惠及無明俱。惠能計度，無明迷故。《佛地論》說：有義：法執及無明遍三性有漏心品及二乘無漏心品，皆不了達法無我故，皆似相分、見分起故。前卷已說。此障中無，但護法師伏遮彼計。若言法執，何藉惠俱？

The Commentary states: The treatises only state that this eighth consciousness is associated with only five mental factors. Dharmagrāha must be associated with discernment (prajñā) and ignorance: discernment is capable of conceptual calculation, and ignorance causes delusion. The Buddhabhūmi-śāstra states: There is an opinion: dharmagrāha and ignorance pervade the sāsrava mental states of the three natures and the anāsrava mental states of the two vehicles, because all fail to comprehend the selflessness of dharmas, and all arise resembling the nimittabhāga and darśanabhāga. This was already stated in the previous fascicle. It does not exist within this obstacle, but Master Dharmapāla implicitly wards off that imputation. If one speaks of dharmagrāha, why must it rely on association with discernment?
