述曰：三、約人分別。二乘但能斷煩惱障等，求解脫故，所知之障彼故。菩薩俱障，二果別故。由作意故斷有先後，後中定障二乘亦斷，小故不說。第四，有、無漏道伏、斷分別。

The Commentary states: Third, differentiation according to persons. The two vehicles can only sever the affliction obstacle and so forth, because they seek liberation, and that [other obstacle] is the cognitive obstacle. Bodhisattvas are obstructed by both, because the two fruits are different. Due to mental application, their abandonment has a sequence of earlier and later; later, the obstacle of meditative stabilization is also severed by the two vehicles, but being minor, it is not mentioned. Fourth, differentiation of suppression and severance by the worldly and uncontaminated paths.
