述曰：伏煩惱時此俱法執亦不起，故名伏法執，非別起伏道，或見道前加行智伏。諸論或說有漏諸道不能斷種，有相縛故，麁重縛故，不證理故，無漏不爾故。自下第五結歸本頌。

The Commentary states: When suppressing afflictions, the dharmagrāha conjoined with them also does not arise; hence it is called suppressing dharmagrāha, not that a distinct suppressing path is initiated, or that it is suppressed by the preparatory knowledge before the path of seeing. Various treatises sometimes state that contaminated paths cannot sever seeds because of nimittabandhana, because of the bondage of coarseness and heaviness (dauṣṭhulya), and because they do not realize the principle, whereas the uncontaminated [paths] are not so. Below, the fifth part concludes by returning to the root verse.
