述曰：下釋有二：初略解本頌；後廣釋此頌。今釋上二句頌。「不取種種戲論相」者，不取者，無能取執。「不取戲論相」者，無所取相，觀真勝義名無所得。

The Commentary states: The explanation below has two parts: first, a brief explanation of the root verse; second, a broad explanation of this verse. Now explaining the upper two lines of the verse. 'Does not grasp the marks of various conceptual proliferations': 'does not grasp' means having no grasper grasping. 'Does not grasp the marks of conceptual proliferation' means having no grasped mark; contemplating the true supreme meaning is called having nothing to attain.
