9.59

述曰：又加行心隨順聖教，作我、法空觀，名曰達無。既有法執，名為執有，如何執有心與達無之智而俱起也？彼既不俱起，明加行心非有法執。

The Commentary states: Furthermore, the preparatory mind accords with the sacred teachings and performs the contemplation of the emptiness of self and phenomena, which is called 'realizing non-existence'. Since it possesses dharmagrāha, it is called 'grasping existence'; how could a mind that grasps existence and a wisdom that realizes non-existence arise together? Since they do not arise together, it is clear that the preparatory mind does not possess dharmagrāha.
