述曰：上已辨行相見道，別修作故；此廣布教道理，即菩薩等在見道等不作此觀，但為布教說其差別，所以須學，即是依彼假說也。

The Commentary states: Above, the figurative path of seeing of practice was already distinguished, because it is distinctly cultivated; this principle of widely disseminating the teaching means that bodhisattvas and others, while in the path of seeing and so forth, do not engage in this contemplation, but its differences are explained solely for the sake of setting forth the teaching, which is why it must be studied—that is, it is figuratively posited on that basis.
