述曰：此會第三違，更有別釋，如第二卷。此中且據有漏強者謂遍計種，不言有漏種皆是遍計。既爾，復不言第八唯緣遍計種子。既無唯言，明第八所緣之種更有多也。

The Commentary states: This reconciles the third contradiction. There is another explanation as well, as in the second fascicle. Here, it merely refers to the predominant [seeds] among the sāsrava as seeds of parikalpita; it does not say that all sāsrava seeds are parikalpita. Since that is so, it furthermore does not say that the eighth [consciousness] takes only seeds of parikalpita as its object. Since there is no word 'only', it is clear that the seeds which are the objects of the eighth [consciousness] are even more numerous.
