The Commentary states: Asvabhāva says: One attains the supreme unhindered understanding; among all wisdoms, this is the most supreme. Wisdom is intellect, hence it is called "Good Wisdom." Vasubandhu says: "This wisdom is wonderful and good, hence it is called Good Wisdom." Asvabhāva says: Due to the unhindered understanding of phenomena, one freely and thoroughly understands all phrases of the Dharma; due to the unhindered understanding of meaning, one freely penetrates all meanings and principles; due to the unhindered understanding of phrasing, one freely distinguishes all expressions; due to the unhindered understanding of eloquence, one freely elucidates and preaches throughout the ten directions in accordance with what is appropriate. In this ground, one first realizes the wisdom of unhindered understanding that had never before been attained, hence it is called Good Wisdom. Regarding being able to reach the ten directions, the Daśabhūmika says: "Through the power of non-obstruction, preaching the Dharma accomplishes the practice of benefiting others."
