種子以諸門分別，如《別抄》。下是唯新熏中第二釋難。釋前初四通證文，第四解違中解後三別證文。

The distinction of seeds through various gates is as in the Biechao (Separate Notes). Below is the second [section] among [the refutations of] the newly-perfumed-only position, resolving difficulties. It explains the first four universal proof texts preceding; in the fourth section, "Resolving Contradictions," it explains the latter three particular proof texts.
