第四地中斷於我執,斷具生中有近遠,五地斷害伴名「近」,六地斷羸劣一分名「遠」;「斷障為得二勝果」下是無生忍,斷羸劣一分及微細隨眠,當於佛地得二果故。

In the fourth bhūmi, grasp of self is abandoned; within the abandonment of innate [grasps] there are proximate and distant: the fifth bhūmi abandons harmful companions, which is called 'proximate'; the sixth bhūmi abandons a portion of the emaciated and feeble, which is called 'distant'. From 'abandoning obstacles is in order to obtain the two sublime fruits' downwards is the patience of non-arising (anutpattika-dharma-kṣānti), because when one abandons a portion of the emaciated and feeble as well as subtle latent tendencies (anuśaya), one will obtain the two fruits at the Buddha-stage.
