Is concealing one's own offense considered concealment, or is concealing another's considered concealment? It is not [the latter]. For example, a nun who conceals another's grave offense is also said to conceal. When a bodhisattva speaks of another's offense, is it an offense or merit? Co-arising with grief and distress, its force can be suppressed and eliminated. As for wholesomeness and defilements of discrimination, when ordinary beings are separated from desire, with what mind do all bad minds conceal? Here, it temporarily speaks of concealing one's own [offense]. Without bad minds, all are wholesome (meaning that due to its nature not functioning, there is the force of the momentum).
