故彼智有見道二師說。勝進道緣何為境？即緣解脫道境，更無別行相，思之。有義漸者，依《疏》以三心為漸；〈五十九〉說三心為頓，准此文釋。頓通一心、三心，諸釋漸如《別抄》多小別引。三心分麁、細，如第一抄顯解。

Therefore, regarding whether that wisdom has a darśana-mārga, two masters gave explanations. What does the advancing path (viśeṣa-mārga) take as its object? It simply takes the object of the path of liberation (vimukti-mārga) as its object; there is no other distinct ākāra—reflect upon this. Regarding the view of gradualness: relying on the Commentary, taking three moments of mind is gradual; Chapter 59 explains the three moments of mind as sudden, which should be interpreted according to this text. "Sudden" applies both to one moment of mind and to three moments of mind. The various explanations of gradualness are cited in detail with minor differences as in the Separate Notes. The division of the three moments of mind into coarse and subtle is clearly explained in the First Note.
