In establishing the six pāramitās, the three aspects of each pāramitā should mutually subsume one another. The six pāramitās have eight dharmas as their substance: non-greed, physical bodily karma (rūpa), vocal verbal karma (śabda), mental karma (cetanā), non-hatred, vigour, wisdom, and concentration. Or eleven: adding desire (chanda), resolute faith (adhimokṣa), and faith (śraddhā). Omnipresent (sarvatraga): one, intention (cetanā). Particular (viniyata): four, desire, resolute faith, concentration, and wisdom. Wholesome (kuśala): four, faith, diligence (vīrya), non-greed, and non-hatred. Material dharmas: two, bodily and vocal karma. Regarding the modes of activity across the nine grounds of the three realms: before the stages and upon the stages, each mode of activity forms a pure fourfold schema; each taken individually constitutes the six pāramitās, and correlated with one another they form a fourfold schema termed "mixed". In terms of categories of merit there is a fourfold schema, not based on schemas of existence and non-existence. The six pāramitās and five fruits should have various differences.
