二地名離垢，無誤犯三業。初地誤犯，猶須思擇，此地不然。如行之時，虫自分路，任運不傷，故無誤犯。初地不爾，猶有誤犯。何故十障但說邪行？二愚兼說誤犯三業，是根本故，彼亦邪行收。

The second bhūmi is called "Free from Defilement" (vimalā), where there is no mistaken transgression in the three karmas. In the first bhūmi, mistaken transgressions still require reflective consideration; in this bhūmi, that is not so. Just as when walking, insects naturally part their paths so that they are spontaneously unharmed, there are no mistaken transgressions. The first bhūmi is not like this, as there are still mistaken transgressions. Why do the ten obstacles only speak of erroneous conduct? The two ignorances also include mistaken transgressions in the three karmas because they are the root; they too are subsumed under erroneous conduct.
