自受用身如淨土量遍法界者，應作二解：一、實爾；二、依用說。智是佛故，以所證無邊故，如世間言：所見處高，言眼孔大。所學廣故，說智惠大。

Regarding the svasaṃbhogakāya pervading the dharma-realm like the measure of the pure land, two explanations should be made: first, it is actually so; second, it is spoken of in terms of function. Because wisdom is the Buddha, and because what is realized is boundless, it is just as in worldly parlance: where what is seen is elevated, one says the eye aperture is vast; because what is studied is extensive, one says wisdom is great.
