護法立末那通法執，諍中有十：一、違經失；二、違量失；三、違《瑜伽》失；四、違《顯揚》失；五、七、八相例失；六、四智不齊失；七、第八無依失；八、二執不均失；九、五、六不同失；十、總結會，或總分三：（一）立理引證；（二）總結；（三）會違。初中有九，即前九是。是故定有下結，言彼無者，下會違。

In Dharmapāla's establishment that the manas encompasses clinging to dharmas, the debate contains ten points: 1. the fault of contradicting the sūtras; 2. the fault of contradicting valid cognition; 3. the fault of contradicting the Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra; 4. the fault of contradicting the Xianyang lun; 5. the fault of the seventh and eighth modeling upon each other; 6. the fault of the four wisdoms being unequal; 7. the fault of the eighth having no support; 8. the fault of the two clingings being disproportionate; 9. the fault of the fifth and sixth being unlike each other; 10. the overall summary and reconciliation. Or, overall it is divided into three: (1) establishing reasons and citing proofs; (2) overall summary; (3) reconciliation of contradictions. In the first there are nine, which are the previous nine. Below "Therefore, it definitely exists" is the summary; stating "those which are absent" is below, reconciling contradictions.
