若爾，應名亦凡亦聖，許亦何過？有雜亂過。答：若以聖性為異生性，可有雜亂，二性各別，何成雜亂？

If so, they should be called both ordinary and noble! What fault is there in admitting this? There is the fault of confusion. Answer: If the noble nature were taken to be the ordinary nature, there could be confusion; but the two natures are distinct, so how could there be confusion?
