又，色根見非見四句分別。一、識見根非見：大眾、一說、說出世、鷄胤等部說；五色根不能見色：薩婆多師等；根見識不見：大乘師等；根、識二俱見，四根、識俱不見：謂在胎藏等位。

Furthermore, a fourfold categorization is made regarding whether the physical faculties see or do not see: 1. The consciousness sees and the faculty does not see: stated by schools such as the Mahāsāṃghika, Ekavyāvahārika, Lokottaravāda, and Gokulika; the five physical faculties cannot see form: the Sarvāstivāda masters and others [hold this]; the faculty sees and the consciousness does not see: the Mahāyāna masters and others; both faculty and consciousness see; both faculty and consciousness do not see: namely, in states such as the embryonic stages.
