2.85

九、應同異宗失者。以立種子緣備之時，功能倍增，即云朋邪宗過。小乘立無表，大乘令亦立；小乘立蘊等，今大乘亦立，皆應同彼過。若謂由熏，假實有異，無同彼失。今依種上功能倍增，無過亦爾。

Ninth is the fault of [absurdly concluding that we] must be identical to heterodox schools. Because we posit that when the conditions for the seeds are fully prepared, their functional capacity doubles and increases, [the opponent] calls this the fault of aligning with heterodox traditions. The Hīnayāna posits avijñapti, and the Mahāyāna also posits it; the Hīnayāna posits the aggregates and so forth, and the Mahāyāna now also posits them: all of these would likewise entail the fault of being identical to them! If you say that due to perfuming, the provisional and the real differ, so there is no fault of being identical to them, then here, positing that functional capacity doubles and increases based on seeds is similarly without fault.
