3.62

《論》：不善應為善法等種，云小乘可爾者，假設許之，非小乘許。又六因中，小乘許為同類因故。

Regarding the treatise statement: "The unwholesome should serve as the seeds for wholesome dharmas and the like," when it says that this may be accepted by the Hīnayāna, this is an argumentative concession; it is not that the Hīnayāna actually accepts it. Furthermore, among the six causes, the Hīnayāna accepts it as a cause of the same class (sabhāga-hetu).
