第三難陀，若唯安惠者不爾，通則可然，救破隨舉言似根等。諸師各解得通種、現，文言通故。

As for the third master, Nanda: if it were solely Sthiramati, it would not be so; but if understood generally, it is admissible, citing 'resembling the sense-faculties and so forth' to rescue and refute as appropriate. The various masters each explain that it can apply generally to seeds and actual states, because the textual phrasing is general.
