答：我不多爭，計常斷等有多爭故，過增多起。邪見之中，亦據過增多起者說，見、戒二取，依於彼執非根本故。

Answer: [The view of] a self is not widely disputed, whereas asserting permanence or annihilation, and so forth, involves wide dispute; thus their faults are amplified and they arise frequently. Among false views, it is also spoken on the basis of those whose faults are amplified and arise frequently. The two attachments—to views and to precepts—rely on those grasping views and are not fundamental.
