《論》：《攝大乘》說等者。《攝論》第四說依他起為所遍計，相、質俱是。故此論云：遍計心等所緣緣故，簡圓成實，以相與質，不相似故。所以本解親相分者，必依他起，本質不定，即除無為。故此論言：「常遠離前性。」

Treatise: 'The Mahāyānasaṃgraha states, etc.' Fascicle four of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha states that the dependent nature is what is falsely conceptualized; both the image and the archetype are it. Therefore, this treatise states: 'Because they are the objective support condition of the falsely conceptualizing mind, etc.' This excludes the perfected nature, because the image and the archetype do not resemble each other. The reason the original explanation holds that the direct image division is necessarily the dependent nature while the archetype is indeterminate is that unconditioned phenomena are excluded. Therefore, this treatise states: 'It is perpetually and distantly separated from the former nature.'
