十二次下云：又復滅、道俱應曉了。意說無相行所曉了，即滅、道八俱無相門。滅諦是果，道是功德，俱為所了，即無相門攝滅、道八，據能無相及性無相，第四復次。

Further below in [fascicle] twelve, it says: "Furthermore, cessation and the path should both be thoroughly understood." This means that what is thoroughly understood by the signless practice is that the eight of cessation and the path are both the signless door. The truth of cessation is the fruit, and the path is the virtue; both are what is understood. Thus the signless door subsumes the eight of cessation and the path, in terms of active signlessness and essential signlessness; this is the fourth alternative.
