答：《華嚴》等云：譬如日出，先耀高山。於大乘教頓悟先熟，故先三性；漸悟後成，後說無性。

Answer: The Avataṃsaka and other sūtras state: "Like the rising sun first illuminating the high mountains." In the Mahāyāna teaching, those of sudden enlightenment mature first, so the three natures are first; those of gradual enlightenment are accomplished later, so naturelessness is expounded later.
